The Victorian Small Business Commissioner will visit Beechworth on Tuesday 26 February as the keynote speaker at a lunch hosted by the Beechworth & District Chamber of Commerce.
Commissioner Judy O’Connell’s presentation will equip business owners in the region to grow their businesses, by providing them with knowledge and tools to stay ahead of the game. Topics will cover cash flow, being paid on time, moving to digital, the impact of cyber security and the NBN rollout.
The lunch will be in the Dining Room, The Empire Hotel Beechworth from 12.00 pm to 1.00 pm.
Ms O’Connell said, “I’m looking forward to hearing the issues that are impacting small businesses in the Beechworth region.”
“It’s important to me to meet with small business people in regional areas as the issues they face are often very different to city-based businesses.”
The event is an opportunity for local businesses to network and learn about the support the Victorian Small Business Commission provides.
