The Victorian Small Business Commissioner will visit Benalla on Thursday 28 February as the keynote speaker at the ‘Food for Thought’ breakfast hosted by the Benalla Rural City Council, the first in a series of business breakfasts for 2019.

Commissioner Judy O’Connell’s presentation will equip business owners in the region to grow their businesses, by providing them with knowledge and tools to stay ahead of the game. Topics will cover cash flow, being paid on time, moving to digital, the impact of cyber security and the NBN rollout.

The breakfast will be at the Ella Goose Restaurant and Functions at 7.30 am to 8.45 am.

Ms O’Connell said, “I’m looking forward to hearing the issues that are impacting small businesses in the Benalla region”.

“It’s important to me to meet with small business people in regional areas as the issues they face are often very different to city-based businesses.”

The event is an opportunity for local businesses to network and learn about the support the Victorian Small Business Commission provides.

Tickets for the event hosted by the Benalla Rural City Council can be booked via Eventbrite
