Moe small business owners will be encouraged to grow their businesses together at a free breakfast on Thursday 3 May.

The Moe ‘Grow Your Business, Together’ event follows similar breakfasts held in Traralgon, Morwell and Trafalgar this week and aims to provide business owners and operators with practical tips to help their businesses thrive.

Victorian Small Business Commissioner, Judy O’Connell will speak at the Moe breakfast and will be joined by business coach Megan Vuillermin, who will share advice for connecting with customers through social media.

According to Ms O’Connell, the breakfast will be an opportunity for Moe-based businesses to network, learn strategies to boost their success, and hear about the value of a combined business voice for their town.

“We were blown away with the response to our Traralgon, Morwell and Trafalgar breakfasts, with more than 80 people attending each one and we look forward to seeing similar numbers at Moe,” Ms O’Connell said.

“There is an obvious thirst for small business networking and development opportunities in Gippsland and we are pleased to combine with Committee for Moe and Moe Traders Association to host this event.”

Ms O’Connell said there was already a strong business voice across the Latrobe Valley and continuing to build on this was important for a thriving business community.

Moe’s free ‘Grow Your Business, Together’ breakfast will be held at Moe Racing Club on Thursday 3 May from 7:15am for a 7:30am start, through to 9am.
