Yarram and district small business owners will be encouraged to grow their businesses together at a free breakfast on Tuesday 22 May.
The business breakfast at Yarram Club Hotel will provide business owners and operators with practical tips to help their businesses thrive and is part of a series of nine ‘Grow Your Business, Together’ breakfasts across Gippsland.
Victorian Small Business Commissioner, Judy O’Connell will speak at the Yarram event, which will be hosted by Yarram & District Business & Tourism Association.
She will be joined by digital communications specialist, Brett Hamm, who will speak about raising your profile and increasing sales through social media.
According to Ms O’Connell, the breakfast will be an opportunity for local businesses to network, learn strategies to boost their success, and hear about the value of a combined business voice for their region.
“In my travels across Victoria as Small Business Commissioner, I’ve seen the correlation between a strong small business network and the success of local businesses in regional towns,” Ms O’Connell said.
“There is already a strong business voice across Yarram and its surrounding towns, and continuing to build on this is important for a thriving business community.”
The free ‘Grow Your Business, Together’ breakfast will run from 7:15am for a 7:30am start, through to 9am at Yarram Club Hotel, 287 Commercial Road, Yarram on Tuesday 22 May.
