Hear directly from Victorian Small Business Commissioner Lynda McAlary-Smith who’ll share insights from the dispute resolution work of the Victorian Small Business Commission (VSBC). The VSBC Annual Report 2024-25 is scheduled to be tabled in Parliament in late October and attendees to this session will be among some of the first in Victoria to gain insight from the report.
Each year, the VSBC assists the resolution of thousands of disputes: from disagreements over contracts to disputes between retail landlords and tenants.
Commissioner McAlary-Smith will unbox the most common causes of disputes, and share tips on how to avoid and de-escalate such disputes yourself. She’ll also outline what supports and assistance pathways are available.
This session will be delivered online and questions are welcome.
