Victorian Small Business Commissioner will visit Wangaratta on Wednesday 27 February as a keynote speaker at a business breakfast, hosted by the Rural City of Wangaratta.
Commissioner Judy O’Connell’s presentation will equip business owners in the region to grow their businesses, by providing them with knowledge and tools to stay ahead of the game. Topics will cover cash flow, being paid on time, moving to digital, the impact of cyber security and the NBN rollout.
The breakfast will be held at the Wangaratta Performing Arts and Convention centre 7.30 to 9.00 am.
Ms O’Connell said, “I’m looking forward to hearing the issues that are impacting small businesses in Wangaratta”.
“It’s important to me to meet with small business people in regional areas as the issues they face are often very different to a city-based business.”
The breakfast will also provide an opportunity for local businesses to network, learn about the Victorian Small Business Commission, and ask questions regarding the work of the Commission.
“I am eager to engage with the small business community, talk about the role of the VSBC and explain what I can do to support businesses in the region” said Ms O’Connell.
Tickets for the event hosted by the Rural City of Wangaratta can be booked via Eventbrite
